  Sinema bleibt als Unabhängige beim demokratischen Caucus (wie Sanders und King) und behält dafür ihre Ausschusspöstchen damit sind es 51 und es ändert sich praktisch nichts, bis zu den Primaries vermutlich.

  Fox-News lässt Trump fallen und agitiert gegen ihn so, wie es das gegen Biden und die Dems macht; dann müsste Fox aber wohl auch ein Drittel seiner Show-Leute entlassen, ganz vorne T. Carlson und S. Hannity, welche die besten Quoten bringen. Der im hohen Maße rassistische Carlson ist 100%ig auf der Seite von Trump und Putin, ihm wird ein Schwenk zu Desantis kaum gelingen.

  Nein nein, das ist absolut nicht so. Es gibt immer noch Dauerfeuer gegen praktisch alle Trumpgegener, die nicht Dessantis heißen. Beispiel heute: Trump wurde vom 1/6 Committee praktisch angeklagt (das geht an das Justizministerium) in vier Strafttatspunkten:

  (1) obstruction of an official proceeding;

  (2) conspiracy to defraud the United States;

  (3) conspiracy to make a false statement and

  (4) inciting, assisting or giving comfort to an insurrection

  Man schweigt es tot bis zum  Punkt 44, und zitiert dann einen radikalen House-Abgeordneten, der vermutlich auch bald angeklagt wird:

  Was sich angedeutet hat: Die GOP ist gespalten und kann sich aktuell nicht auf einen House-Sprecher einigen, obwohl sie eine Mehrheit von 5 Abgeordneten hat. Das erste Mal seit 100 Jahren wurde der Speaker nicht im ersten Anlauf gewählt, alle Wahlgänge heute sind gescheitert, morgen geht es weiter. In den ersten beiden Wahlgängen haben 19 Republikaner gegen Trump-Arschkriecher McCarthy gewählt (weil er ihnen zu wenig trumpisch ist), im 3. Wahlgang waren es dann 20.

  Das könnte für Tage so weiter gehen, und dann könnten

  a) McCarthy den Abweichlern alles versprechen,was die wünschen  und sich somit völlig handlungsunfähig machen,

  b) ein anderer Republikaner mit ebenso wenig Machtbefugnissen gewählt werden

  c) Republikaner mit Resthirn auf Demokraten zugehen und sich mit ihnen auf einen Kompromisskandidaten (unter den Republikanern) einigen; und die GOP damit faktisch spalten

  d) Das House könnte beschließen, dass der Speaker nur eine relative Mehrheit braucht statt einer absoluten. Bei den ersten drei Wahlgängen wäre das der Kandidat der Demokraten, Jeffries gewesen.

  Ich gebe dem Kleinkriminellen und Triebtäter Gaetz aus Florida ungern Recht, aber da hat er einen Punkt. Wenn schon, dann sollte der mit den meisten Stimmen vorübergehend das Büro beziehen, das wäre dann der Demokrat Jeffries.

  Rassistische Statements gehen bei Donald ja immer, gerade gegen seine ehemalige Verkehrsministerin, die nie Abgeordnete in House oder Senat war, aber sicher die Hauptverantwortliche ist für das Chaos im House der Trumpfreunde.

  Zumindest zeigt sich, was für ein politisches Schwergewicht Nancy Pelosi war. Hat 20 Jahre lang die Fraktion der Demokraten im Repräsentantenhaus geführt, in der vergangenen Legislaturperiode übrigens mit den gleichen Mehrheitsverhältnissen wie derzeit, nur spiegelverkehrt. Auch knappe Mehrheiten hat sie so bei der Stange gehalten, dass kontroverse Gesetze verabschiedet worden sind.
